Job summary

AVI-SPL is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support project teams in delivering on-time, on-budget results while following AVI-SPL PM processes. You will grow toward managing smaller projects and eventually progress to a Project Manager role with our guidance.

Responsibilities include coordinating tasks, handling communication, reviewing contracts, and maintaining project records. A proactive communicator with a drive to learn fits well here.

Qualifications

• Experience as an assistant Project Manager or Project Coordinator.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and PDF software.
• Ability to manage tasks and resources to meet project objectives.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel to various job sites and maintain DMV records.

Responsibilities

• Learn and comply with AVI-SPL standard processes and procedures.
• Review contract documents for each project including scopes of work, drawings, specifications, contracts and schedules.
• Manage project team tasks and milestone activity.
• Facilitate discovery and documentation during internal kick-off meetings.
• Participate in external project kick-off meetings with stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project communications and documentation.
• Respond to customer inquiries and escalate issues as needed.
• Prepare and review progress reports and closeout documentation.
