Job summary

AVI-SPL, Inc. is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support project management activities, communications, change management, and timely, on-budget deliverables.

You will follow AVI-SPL project management principles and gradually develop skills to manage smaller projects and progress into the Project Manager role. The role focuses on coordinating tasks, reviewing contracts, managing documentation, and maintaining strong client relationships to improve on-time delivery, quality,

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and PDF software.
• Ability to manage tasks and resources to meet project objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel to job sites.

Responsibilities

• Learn and follow AVI-SPL standard processes and procedures.
• Review contract documents for assigned projects, including scopes and schedules.
• Manage project team tasks and milestone activity.
• Facilitate internal and external project kick-off meetings.
• Maintain accurate project communications and documentation.
• Escalate issues to Project/Office Management as needed.
• Support change order processes and ensure proper handling of scope/cost changes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers to improve delivery and quality.
