Job summary

Performance Contracting Group in West Texas is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Dallas 114 operations. The role provides hands-on experience in project management, estimating, and growth within an employee-owned company that values safety, teamwork, and initiative.

Responsibilities include safety meetings, punch lists, QA/QC support, RFIs, submittals, labor control, takeoffs, scheduling, warranties, and material coordination.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Ability to work in a team.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building abilities.
• Critical-thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to multitask.

• Conduct safety meetings.
• Create and manage punch lists.
• Support Quality Control measures in PCI QA/QC program.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals.
• Labor control on projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering.

• Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing.

Job Description

Performance Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing employee-owned organization as an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Dallas 114 operations based in West Texas.

The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands-on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

Job responsibilities include:

• Conducting safety meetings
• Creating and managing punch lists
• Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI's QA/QC program

Basic Requirements

• Must have a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience
