Job summary

Performance Contracting Group in West Texas is seeking an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Dallas 114 operations. This role launches future leaders with hands-on project management and estimating experience, while supporting QA/QC and safety initiatives.

You will assist in scheduling, materials coordination, RFI/submittals, and coordinating warranties/OMs on diverse commercial projects, with opportunity for growth and travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as they are taught.
  • Strong customer service skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Must have critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative.
  • Works well under pressure and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting safety meetings.
  • Creating and managing punch lists.
  • Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI’s QA/QC program.
  • Preparing RFI’s and submittals.
  • Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance.
  • Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering.
  • Supporting the implementation of the job schedule.
  • Coordinating warranties and O&M’s.
  • Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing.

Job Description

Performance Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing employee-owned organization as an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI Dallas 114 operations based in West Texas. The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launching pad for future leaders within PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands‑on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

Job Responsibilities Include

Basic Requirements
