Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety meetings and participate in safety program.
• Create and manage punch lists and assist QA/QC activities.
• Prepare RFIs and submittals for project documentation.
• Oversee labor controls on projects, including setup and maintenance.
• Perform quantitative takeoffs for material ordering.
• Support project scheduling and coordination of warranties and O&M.
• Coordinate material purchases with orders and invoicing.

Job description

Performance Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing employee-owned organization as an entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI New England 586 operations based in Holliston, MA.

The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launchpad for future leaders at PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands‑on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

Job responsibilities include:

• Conducting safety meetings
• Creating and managing punch lists
• Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI’s QA/QC program
• Preparing RFI’s and submittals
• Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
• Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
• Supporting the implementation of the job schedule
• Coordinating warranties and O&M’s
• Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing

Salary range: $84,600 annual salary plus a non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.

This position is safety-sensitive.

Basic Requirements

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
• A clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
