Performance Contracting Group is seeking a motivated, entry-level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI New England 586 operations based in Holliston, MA. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in CM/CE/CS or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety meetings.
  • Create and manage punch lists.
  • Support PCI QA/QC program.
  • Prepare RFIs and submittals.
  • Labor control on projects, setup and maintenance.
  • Takeoffs for material ordering.
  • Assist with project schedule implementation.
  • Coordinate warranties and O&M.
  • Coordinate purchasing, invoicing, and material coordination.

Associate Project Engineer (PCI New England 586)

Performance Contracting is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing employee‑owned organization as an entry‑level Associate Project Engineer for its PCI New England 586 operations based in Holliston, MA. The Associate Project Engineer role serves as a launchpad for future leaders at PCI. It's a dynamic position offering hands‑on experience in project management and estimating, setting the stage for professional growth and career advancement in an innovative environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conducting safety meetings
  • Creating and managing punch lists
  • Supporting the Quality Control Measures outlined in PCI's QA/QC program
  • Preparing RFIs and submittals
  • Labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
  • Quantitative takeoffs for material ordering
  • Supporting the implementation of the job schedule
  • Coordinating warranties and O&M's
  • Material coordination with purchase orders and invoicing

Salary range: $84,600 annual salary plus a non‑guaranteed annualized bonus program.

This position is safety‑sensitive.

Basic Requirements
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Science, or comparable work experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
  • A clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to learn new skills by engaging in technical job functions and applying new skills as they are taught
  • Strong customer service skills and relationship‑building abilities
  • Must have critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to multitask
