Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Assist with site evaluation and due diligence, including review of land, power, permitting, and infrastructure conditions.
  • Maintain and update site tracking logs, status reports, and development timelines across an active multi-site portfolio.
  • Research entitlement, zoning, utility, and permitting requirements for new and active development sites.
  • Support the preparation of materials, presentations, and reports for internal leadership and joint venture partners.
  • Assist with financial analysis and project information used to evaluate development opportunities.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, action items, and follow-up documentation across internal teams and external partners.
  • Track open action items, decisions, risks, and deliverables across active development sites and elevate issues as appropriate.
  • Assist in maintaining project schedules and identifying schedule, cost, or budget variances for senior team members.
  • Support cross-functional teams throughout the development and execution lifecycle of data center projects.

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated early-career professional to join our Development team in a hybrid analyst and project coordination capacity.

This role sits at the intersection of site development, project execution, and financial analysis, supporting pre-development activities, project tracking, stakeholder coordination, and development initiatives across MARA's data center and energy infrastructure portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
Development Support
  • Assist with site evaluation and due diligence, including review of land, power, permitting, and infrastructure conditions.
  • Maintain and update site tracking logs, status reports, and development timelines across an active multi-site portfolio.
  • Research entitlement, zoning, utility, and permitting requirements for new and active development sites.
  • Support the preparation of materials, presentations, and reports for internal leadership and joint venture partners.

Project Coordination
  • Support EPC and equipment procurement processes, including RFP tracking, quote comparisons, and vendor communication logs.
  • Coordinate meetings, agendas, action items, and follow-up documentation across internal teams and external partners.
  • Track open action items, decisions, risks, and deliverables across active development sites and elevate issues as appropriate.
  • Assist in maintaining project schedules and identifying schedule, cost, or budget variances for senior team members.
  • Support cross-functional teams throughout the development and execution lifecycle of data center projects.
Stakeholder & Team Support
  • Coordinate with internal development, engineering, finance, legal, procurement, and operations teams.
  • Support communication and information flow between MARA and external partners, vendors, consultants, and contractors.
  • Organize complex project information into clear, concise, and executive-ready deliverables.
  • Contribute to process improvements and standardized tracking across MARA's development portfolio.
