Job summary

Relay Graduate School of Education (Relay) is seeking an Associate Partner to lead Customized Coaching & Training in the NYC area. You will support principals, district leaders, and chief academic officers in MTSS implementation, data-informed instruction, and HQIM alignment across all tiers.

The role emphasizes on-site and virtual coaching, professional learning design, and collaboration with a national network. Travel within NYC and surrounding districts is required; start date is immediate.

Qualifications

• Master’s or other graduate degree required.
• Minimum of three years as a Principal, Director of Special Education, or Director of MTSS (or equivalent) in a high-needs community.
• Strong organizational skills and proficiency in managing processes and systems.
• Committed to fostering a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
• Ability to travel at least 20%.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Live within 1 hour of NYC by subway or car.
• PETS clearance or ability to pass the NYCPS PETS Background check clearance process.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and partner support to a portfolio of partners in New York City.
• Use baseline assessments to set coaching goals with local partners.
• Establish systems for quarterly progress monitoring and communication.
• Provide individualized weekly or monthly coaching to principals or senior staff.
• Facilitate data review and practice sessions to reach coaching goals.
• Conduct site visits to observe and inform action planning.
• Synthesize performance data and identify gaps in learning and outcomes.
• Design and facilitate professional learning sessions for leadership.
• Collaborate weekly with colleagues to develop equity-centered content.
