Job summary

Relay Graduate School of Education seeks a Curriculum Support Coach to provide curriculum-specific professional development and coaching to teachers and leaders in NYC schools.

You will join the Relay community with a strong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism. This is a 1099 contract position with daily compensation of $1,250, starting Aug 2026 and ending June 2027.

Qualifications

• PETS clearance or ability to pass NYCPS PETS Background check clearance.
• Live within 1 hour of NYC by subway or car.
• 7-10+ years in K-12 education with time as a leader and coach.
• 3+ years facilitating adult learning for educators and leaders; reading/literacy trainings preferred.
• Experience with MTSS and HQIM.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person, job-embedded coaching for 12–30 days during the 2026–2027 school year.
• Support coaches around Wit & Wisdom, MTSS, Observation & Feedback and related topics.
• Lead activities such as PLC facilitation, model lessons, 1:1 planning, data meetings, classroom observations, and data-driven debriefs with leaders.
• Attend summer orientation and bi-monthly virtual meetings (1:1 with manager or team).
