Job summary

kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP USA member, seeks an Associate Mechanical Engineer to design cooling and HVAC systems for mission-critical facilities. You will work on complex air distribution, chiller plants, and energy solutions, traveling to client sites as needed.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical engineering background, strong communication, and 1–3 years of relevant experience. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and CFD concepts is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with mechanical building systems emphasis.
• 1-3 years designing mechanical systems for commercial/industrial or data center buildings.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Independently support the project team during design and construction stages.
• Design air distribution, hydronic and automated temperature controls systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to develop drawings and specs.
