kW Mission Critical Engineering, a member of WSP USA, is actively seeking an Associate Mechanical Engineer for our New York, NY office. You will design complex cooling and HVAC systems including air distribution, chiller plants, and energy solutions for mission critical facilities.

The ideal candidate has a mechanical or architectural engineering background with 1–3 years of experience, proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace and PipeFlow, and a willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree aligned with mechanical or architectural engineering.
• 1–3 years designing mechanical systems for high-performing facilities.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace and PipeFlow; knowledge of codes.
• Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsabilités

• Design HVAC, air distribution, hydronic and controls systems.
• Prepare drawings and specifications for issuance to architects and contractors.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams and vendors.
• Attend client meetings and support project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and review mechanical designs.
