kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP company, seeks a Senior Mechanical Engineer for its Atlanta, GA office. The role covers design and coordination of mechanical systems for mission critical facilities, including HVAC, energy, and controls, with opportunities for mentoring and client interaction.

The candidate should have a Mechanical/Architectural Engineering degree and 5+ years of relevant experience, plus proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace and Pipeflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering with mechanical systems emphasis.
• 5+ years designing mechanical systems for high-performing, data center, commercial, or industrial buildings.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace and Pipeflow.
• Knowledge of building, mechanical and energy codes; strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and construction stages of projects.
• Design air distribution, hydronic and automated temperature control systems.
• Develop drawings and specifications for architects, contractors and owners.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors; attend client meetings.
• Mentor and train junior engineers.
• Travel to client sites as required.
