Job summary

AdventHealth in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking an IT Desktop Support Technician to resolve consumer technical problems and maintain basic AV support. You will install and image devices, document issues, and collaborate with enterprise IT teams to meet SLA targets.

Candidates should have strong troubleshooting, familiarity with Windows/Mac OS, and experience in a healthcare setting. AHS certifications are a plus; HS diploma required. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

• Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving with some supervision.
• Familiar with Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Experience with device imaging processes and imaging workflows.
• Knowledge of network basics and IT security practices.
• Experience in a healthcare environment is a plus.
• Strong documentation and ticketing skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with consumers to provide solutions to technical problems.
• Supports audio-video technology at a basic level.
• References knowledge bases and maintains SOPs.
• Performs basic level repairs for company devices.
• Works with vendors for support and escalations.
• Meets SLA for incidents and requests.
• Leads projects within allotted timeframes (where applicable).
• Follows and maintains AIT SOPs for field operations.
• Performs preventive maintenance on devices.
• Installs consumer-based hardware and software on devices and OS.
• Documents detailed descriptions in ticket system.
• Follows standards for devices and software.
