Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, FL is seeking an IT Field Operations Technician to install, image, and support devices across the organization. You will maintain SOPs, assist with preventive maintenance, and contribute to IT projects while coordinating with vendors and leadership.

The role requires strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of hardware, software, and security best practices, plus experience in a healthcare environment. On-site day shift with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

Knowledge of multiple internet browsers and systems
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Familiar with macOS and Windows environments
Experience imaging devices for deployment
In-depth knowledge of mobile device hardware
Able to track projects and time using formal processes
Strong technical troubleshooting skills
Experience with workstation management software
Familiar with peripherals and accessories
Solid IT security best practices knowledge
Experience with IT networking concepts and hardware
Healthcare environment experience preferred

Responsibilities

Install hardware and software on devices and OS
Document descriptions in internal ticket system
Follow AIT device standards and SOPs
Perform preventive maintenance on company devices
Lead small to mid-size IT projects
Support audio‑visual technology
Create and reference IT knowledge bases
Perform device repairs to a proficient level
Collaborate with IT vendors for support
Provide image builds/modifications for leadership validation
Train staff and provide support
Escalate critical roadblocks to leadership
Maintain accurate IT inventory

Job Description:

Installs consumer-based hardware and software on devices and operating systems.
Provides detailed descriptions within internal service ticket system.
Follows AIT standards for devices and software.
Performs preventive maintenance on authorized company devices.
Leads small to mid-size projects and special initiatives within allotted timeframe.
Follows and maintains AIT standard operating procedures for field operations.
Supports audio-video technology with minimal assistance.
Creates and references centralized AIT Field Operations knowledge bases.
Performs proficient level repairs for company devices.
Works with designated information technology vendors for support.
Provides image builds and/or modifications to Senior or ITSS leadership for validation.
Provides training and support to relevant staff.
Recognizes critical roadblocks and escalates to leadership for resolution.
Contributes to maintaining accurate IT inventory using appropriate tracking management software.
Performs other duties as assigned.
