Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, FL is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide technical solutions to consumers and support AV technology at a basic level. You will reference the AIT knowledge bases and perform device repairs while coordinating with vendors.

The role requires 1+ year in desktop environments, basic imaging, and familiarity with IT security practices. Healthcare experience is a plus, with a focus on patient-centric service and reliable SLA adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• 1+ year experience in the desktop environment.
• Must have one of the listed IT certifications (CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, CCNA, ISC2 CC, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft 365 Endpoint Administrator, Microsoft Fundamentals, etc.).
• Experience in healthcare environment preferred.
• Experience in consumer-centric environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with consumers to provide solutions to technical problems.
• Supports audio-video technology at a basic level.
• References centralized AIT Field Operations knowledge bases.
• Performs basic level repairs for company devices.
• Works with designated information technology vendors for support.
• Meets the standard service level agreement (SLA) for incidents and requests.
• Leads projects and special initiatives within allotted timeframes.
• Follows and maintains AIT standard operating procedures for field operations.
• Performs preventive maintenance on authorized company devices.
• Works with enterprise AIT technical and business support teams as required.
• Installs consumer-based hardware and software on devices and operating systems.
• Provides detailed descriptions within internal service ticket system.
• Follows AIT standards for devices and software.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
