Job summary

AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking an IT Support/Desktop Technician to assist users, troubleshoot issues, and perform basic device maintenance in a healthcare environment.

The role requires familiarity with browsers, Microsoft Office, Windows and Mac OS, device imaging, and basic hardware knowledge. You will collaborate with IT vendors and internal teams to resolve incidents and meet SLA targets.

Qualifications

• Basic working knowledge of browsers.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with current Microsoft and Mac operating systems.
• Basic familiarity with device imaging processes.
• Basic knowledge of mobile devices hardware.
• Familiarity with projects and time tracking.
• Demonstrates effective technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with consumers to provide solutions to technical problems.
• Supports audio-video technology at a basic level.
• References centralized AIT Field Operations knowledge bases.
• Performs basic level repairs for company devices.
• Works with designated information technology vendors for support.
• Meets the standard service level agreement (SLA) for incidents and requests.
• Leads projects and special initiatives within allotted timeframes.
• Follows and maintains AIT standard operating procedures for field operations.
• Performs preventive maintenance on authorized company devices.
• Works with enterprise AIT technical and business support teams as required.
• Installs consumer-based hardware and software on devices and operating systems.
• Provides detailed descriptions within internal service ticket system.
• Follows AIT standards for devices and software.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
