Job summary

Stream Realty Partners is seeking an Industrial Associate in its national program to focus on tenant representation, leasing, and sales of industrial properties, primarily driving business development, market research, and client presentations.

You will work with senior brokers, receive training, and have uncapped earning potential via a draw plus commission, with no prior sales experience required. This role offers exposure to a fast-paced CRE environment in a growing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2-4 years of professional work experience; business development or sales experience preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Familiarity with CRM software and Excel.
• Real estate license not required at hire, but must be obtained within 60 days of start.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop market and industry research to understand submarket trends.
• Extensive cold calling and face-to-face prospecting for tenant leads.
• In-person canvassing of assigned submarkets and door-to-door outreach.
• Create and organize a detailed database for tenant pursuits and schedule meetings.
• Contribute to building tours, presentations, proposals, and reports.
• Track market data and comps for the submarket.
• Maintain daily communication with clients and prospects.
• Support firm marketing and business development initiatives.
• Assist with market analysis, proposals, and lease comparisons.

As an Industrial Associate in Commercial Real Estate, you will play a pivotal role in the tenant representation, leasing, and sales of industrial properties. You will be primarily responsible for business development activities while also researching market trends, assisting with property valuations, preparing client presentations, and contributing to negotiations and transactions. Working alongside senior brokers, you will help drive the strategy for growth and development in the industrial sector while gaining exposure to various aspects of commercial real estate in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Primary Responsibilities

• Developing a deep understanding of the real estate market by obtaining the latest market and industry research, historical information, and trends
• Extensive cold calling, face-to-face prospecting, and other business development practices
• In-person canvassing of your assigned submarkets, including door-to-door prospecting with industrial tenants
• Creating and organizing a detailed database for tenant pursuits and proactively scheduling and meeting with prospective tenants
• Contributing to building tours, presentations, drafting proposals, and report preparation
• Responsible for tracking and collecting market level data and comps for their submarket
• Maintaining daily interaction with clients and prospective clients
• Participate in firm marketing and business development opportunities
• Supporting market analysis, proposals, and lease comparisons

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2-4 years of professional work experience; business development or sales experience preferred but not required.
• An understanding of client needs and dedication to service
• Strong analytical skills
• Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership experience, sales and negotiating skills
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Working knowledge of Excel
• General understanding of CRM software and tools
• Ability to be an independent worker with a team player attitude
