Fleming Law, a boutique Philadelphia immigration law firm, seeks a motivated Associate Attorney with expertise in removal defense and family-based immigration to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will possess strong writing, organizational, computer, and interpersonal skills.

This role involves extensive research, drafting, and filing of family-based cases and Immigration Court submissions, with a primary focus on asylum, cancellation of removal, humanitarian nonimmigrant applications, and family-based permanent residence petitions. Key responsibilities include:

• Direct client interaction
• Reviewing work of legal assistants and reporting to supervising attorneys
• Drafting and reviewing letters, forms, and documents for partner/client review and submission to government agencies
• Representing clients at USCIS interviews (including the Asylum Office)
• Representing clients at Master Calendar and Merits Hearings before the Executive Office for Immigration Review
• Ensuring client digital/physical files are maintained and organized

Position Requirements:

• One year of experience in family-based immigration and/or removal defense (preferred)
• Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience
