Job summary

7Seventy is seeking an Associate General Counsel, Americas to serve as a trusted legal advisor supporting commercial transactions, employment matters, governance, data privacy, and AI governance across the Americas.

The role requires negotiating complex technology agreements, advising on employment law, and leading scalable legal processes while partnering with Sales, People, and other functions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar in good standing.
• Significant experience negotiating, drafting, and interpreting commercial contracts (SaaS, licensing, tech).
• Experience advising on employment law matters and supporting People/HR.
• AI-forward legal experience with fluency across multiple AI platforms.
• Comfort with Salesforce CRM tools.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies while maintaining risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, review, and manage SaaS, licensing, and technology agreements.
• Provide risk-based legal guidance that supports commercial objectives.
• Partner with Sales and business leaders to facilitate deal execution and revenue growth.
• Advise People team on recruitment, compensation, benefits, workforce planning, and employee relations.
• Draft and review employment agreements and related documentation.
• Counsel on grievances, disputes, investigations, and employment-related issues.
• Develop scalable legal processes, templates, and policies; use AI tools to streamline workflows.
• Support data privacy, AI governance, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external counsel as needed.
