Job summary

SafelyYou is seeking an experienced Associate General Counsel to guide commercial contracting, legal operations, and AI governance as the company scales in the United States. The role partners with the VP of Legal & Compliance to build a scalable, high-performing legal function.

You will negotiate enterprise agreements, support cross-functional teams, and design systems that enable efficient and compliant growth in AI-enabled healthcare tech.

Qualifications

• J.D. from ABA-accredited law school and active U.S. bar membership.
• 4–10 years of transactional legal experience with a focus on commercial contracting.
• Experience building or improving legal operations infrastructure (CLM, playbooks, scalable workflows).
• Working knowledge of privacy law and healthcare data frameworks, including HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal partner for Sales and Customer Success, drafting and negotiating MSAs, SOWs, and DPAs.
• Design scalable contract processes, templates, and playbooks to reduce bottlenecks.
• Support AI governance and privacy provisions in customer agreements and vendor contracts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable business objectives while managing risks.
