The Travelers Indemnity Company seeks an Associate SIU Investigator in Melville, NY. The role focuses on analyzing claims to uncover potential fraud, coordinating with analytics and major case teams, and supporting investigations with precision and integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in criminal justice or a related field (or actuarial/finance).
• Five years of insurance claims investigation experience or related law enforcement experience.
• Experience with data gathering and visualization platforms.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence tooling.

Responsabilités

• Learn foundational insurance investigation skills to uncover potentially fraudulent activity.
• Analyze and summarize technical information into actionable investigation strategies.
• Maintain strong customer service with partners, customers and external resources.
• Act as liaison on fraud to business and industry partners.
• Learn rules of evidence and interpretation relevant to investigations.
• Understand local, state and federal statutes governing investigations.
• Assist on cases for potential insurance fraud prosecution and coordinate with NICB.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
