Job summary

Travelers Investigative Services is seeking an SIU Investigator to analyze and prioritize information to uncover potentially fraudulent activity. You will support a Claim Center, investigate suspicious claims across lines of business, and adapt to new technology and AI tool rollouts while maintaining productivity and service quality.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of investigative experience with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of investigative experience or minimum three years of insurance claim/ underwriting/ legal related experience.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conducts insurance investigations including database searches to uncover all potentially fraudulent aspects of a claim.
• Periodically engages in specialized investigative area (Medical, Cyber, Cargo, Fire Motive & Opportunity).
• Analyzes, monitors and summarizes technical information into actionable investigative strategies.
• Applies rules of evidence and ensures investigations comply with local, state and federal law.
• Maintains contact with business partners, customers and external resources throughout investigations.
• Serves as the fraud subject matter expert to business and industry partners.
