The Travelers Indemnity Company is seeking an SIU Investigator to analyze, summarize and prioritize information to uncover potentially fraudulent activity, supporting a Claims Center. The ideal candidate will conduct comprehensive investigations in a fast-paced environment and liaise with claim, legal, underwriting partners and external resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret information and apply techniques.
• Strong case management skills with ability to work independently.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Working knowledge of insurance and claim operations.

Responsabilités

• Conducts insurance investigations including database searches with focus on uncovering potentially fraudulent aspects of a claim.
• Analyzes, monitors and summarizes technical information into actionable investigative strategies.
• Provides exceptional customer service by maintaining contact with business partners, customers and external resources throughout the life of each investigation.
• Serves as the subject matter expert on fraud to business and industry partners.
• Applies rules of evidence and determines its value to specific claims, evidence collection and interpretation.
• Applies local, state and federal statutes to ensure investigations comply with applicable law and office expectations.
• Identifies cases for potential insurance fraud prosecution and submits questionable claims to NICB.
• Adapts to new technology implementations and AI tools while maintaining productivity.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
