Job summary

Allied Universal® Compliance and Investigation Services is hiring an SIU Investigator to test for fraudulent insurance claims. You will use your knowledge of policies and fraud components to decide if reporting is warranted, working with clients and state agencies as needed.

You will independently investigate claims across workers’ compensation, general liability, property and casualty, and disability, while documenting every step and producing professional reports for internal and external

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or equivalent is required.
• Private Investigator license where required by state is needed.
• 5+ years of complex insurance investigations experience.
• Ability to complete Allied Universal training/orientation after offer.
• Strong anti-fraud knowledge and state regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Independently investigate suspected fraudulent insurance claims across multiple coverages.
• Gather information through interviews, data collection, and collaboration with SIU and law enforcement.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation, reviews, and correspondence.
• Produce clear reports, memos, and letters with professional standards.
• Develop strategic plans to meet assignment objectives and coordinate with supervisors.
