Greater Philadelphia YMCA is seeking an Associate Executive Director to oversee member services, program development, and community service initiatives. This role evaluates existing programs and guides their integration into the YMCA service model while supervising program directors and supporting planning across member services.

Qualifications

• Experience in YMCA management with responsibility for member services and program development.
• Strong knowledge of fitness, group exercise, aquatics programming and family services.
• Willing to work within a developing service-centered model.
• Demonstrated success in membership and staff development.
• Experience in fiscal management and volunteer motivation.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience.

Responsabilités

• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise and recognize a staff team delivering on membership and program engagement strategies.
• Assist with defining and overseeing branch membership and program committees; publish annual work calendar, agenda and minutes.
• Be accountable for revenue generation and expense controls; utilize resources in membership, program development, fundraising and planning.
• Model Listen First skills to foster relationship development and staff development within the first year.
• Develop and implement high quality programs meeting community needs and connecting members to each other.
• Foster a culture of accountability to provide great experiences for all members.
• Monitor trends in membership engagement and retention; ensure branch delivers key member impact results.
• Serve on Membership Quality Team/Executive Operations Team; contribute to policy development and program quality.
