The YMCA of the USA seeks an Associate Executive Director to join the branch leadership team and oversee day-to-day operations while driving engagement in alignment with branch and association goals.

This role stewards the Y's cause, promoting the brand and reputation as an inclusive community organization and collaborating with volunteers and staff for program development and growth.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, business or equivalent preferred.
• YMCA Team Leader certification preferred.
• Four or more years of management experience, including team leadership, preferably in a YMCA.
• Proven track record of successful program growth and innovative program development.
• Ability to direct total operations through volunteer development, supervision of staff, development and monitoring of branch budget, marketing and public relations, and program development.
• Experience in management and development of volunteer involvement; ability to communicate and strengthen relationships with community leaders.
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
• Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations

The Associate Executive Director is a valued member of the branch leadership team. This role is integral to ensuring the overall success of day-to-day branch operations while driving initiatives and engagement in alignment with branch and association goals. The Associate Executive Director stewards the Y's cause, promoting and protecting the brand and reputation as a global, inclusive organization within the community. He/she participates in volunteer and staff development, financial development, and collaboration with community stakeholders.
