Job summary

The Greater Philadelphia YMCA seeks an Associate Executive Director to oversee member services, program development, and community service initiatives. You will evaluate existing programs for integration into the YMCA service model and supervise program directors to enhance member experiences.

You will lead staffing, governance participation, and ensure sound fiscal management while advancing high-quality community programs and engagement across branches.

Qualifications

• Experience in YMCA management with direct responsibility for member service and program development.
• Strong knowledge in fitness, group exercise, aquatics programming, and family service activities.
• Willing to work within a new and developing service-centered model.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, schedule, supervise and recognize a staff team delivering on our mission through membership and program engagement strategies.
• Assist with defining, delegating and oversight of branch membership & program committees.
• Ensure revenue generation and expense controls; adhere to policies and procedures.
