Job summary

Oscar Health in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Associate Director, Virtual Care to lead strategic initiatives and drive the performance of the Virtual Care program. The role reports to the Director, Virtual Care and requires a hybrid schedule with three days in-office per week in Tempe, AZ.

The ideal candidate will oversee department strategy, manage cross-functional teams, and partner with operations, product, data, and clinical groups to deliver impactful results.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in healthcare strategy and operations or related field.
• 4+ years of experience managing individual contributors.
• 3+ years of project planning experience; strong cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Set, drive and execute on the Virtual Care team's strategy to enhance program performance including determining new opportunities.
• Identify and drive execution of cost-savings opportunities by collaborating with key business units.
• Program management of key company and department strategy initiatives from development through implementation.
• Evaluate financial and operational performance metrics dashboards to drive performance improvement.
• Translate program performance into materials for Senior Leadership report outs.
• Development and growth of direct reports, ensuring that colleagues are supported in professional development.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Other duties as assigned.
