Job summary

Community Access Inc. seeks an Assistant Program Director to support the Housing program, oversee service provision, staff development, and budget management, and coordinate with facility and property management.

The Assistant Program Director supports the Program Director to ensure that services are provided within the scope of the agency’s mission and values and are consistent with the needs and desires of individual participants.

Qualifications

• Understanding and commitment to the agency mission with harm reduction and recovery-oriented services.
• Ability to train and support staff in CA values and practice.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred; work experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience in supportive housing and supervisory roles is highly valued.
• Strong communication, organizational, and deadline-driven capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervisory oversight of the housing program(s) and staff development.
• Manage service provision, contract and budget oversight, and coordination with facilities.
• Ensure program census targets, documentation, and reporting meet funder standards.
• Lead and document staff supervision meetings and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with other departments and act as program back-up when needed.
