Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in student financial services or related higher education roles.
• Experience conducting 1:1 financial counseling with students or clients (minimum 1 year).
• Ability to explain financial concepts (cost of attendance, budgeting, loan options) to non-experts.
• Experience managing private loan processing or other compliance-driven workflows.
• Proven ability to develop or deliver financial education (workshops, online modules, materials).
• Strong written communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Banner, CampusLogic, Slate or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and daily operational management of student employment programs (FWS, institutional work, off-campus).
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and accurate payroll processes.
• Supervise professional and student staff; collaborate with Payroll, HR, and Career Readiness.
• Develop policies and best practices; support departments in hiring and supervising student workers.
• Lead financial literacy education initiatives, workshops, and online modules for students.
• Serve as primary resource on financing pathways, costs, and loan considerations for students.
• Coordinate outreach campaigns and support to graduate/professional students.
