Job summary

Collins Aerospace Avionics Navigation seeks a technology leader to guide the Resilient Navigation strategy within CNS Navigation. The role bridges research to product teams, shaping aircraft navigation capabilities and ensuring alignment with customer needs and regulatory standards.

You will partner with international teams to mature disruptive concepts, lead technical staff development, and deliver practical, safe aviation solutions in a highly regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 12+ years experience in safety-critical software or advanced degree with 10+ years.
• U.S. Person required for ITAR/EAR access to information or hardware.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the Resilient Navigation roadmap within CNS Navigation product line.
• Provide domain expertise to navigation technologists, from lab work to flight tests.
• Collaborate with Advanced CNS Sandbox to mature concepts into market-ready solutions.
• Engage with standards and regulatory bodies to influence next-generation concepts.
