Job summary
Collins Aerospace is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to contribute to the GLU-2100 Multi-Mode Receiver family. You will work across system requirements, architecture, integration and verification with a cross‑functional team on GPS and navigation technologies.
The role emphasizes active mentorship, modeling, and collaboration to push advanced avionics solutions in a leading aerospace environment.
Qualifications
- Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with 5+ years experience, or Advanced Degree with 3+ years.
- Aerospace industry experience is required.
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and simulation.
- Experience with Python, Perl or other scripting languages.
- System-level requirements decomposition/analysis and verification.
- System integration planning and verification.
Responsibilities
- Perform system requirements analysis, definition, allocation and validation.
- Execute system integration and requirements verification testing.
- Model and simulate systems; coordinate among hardware, software and systems teams; develop related documentation.
- Mentor and develop skills of other engineers in Navigation and GPS technologies.
