Collins Aerospace seeks a Senior Manager to lead the Mission Assured Navigation, Timing, Inertials, and Simulation (MANTIS) team. You will architect, develop, and test real-time embedded navigation systems for military use, guiding engineers through all lifecycle phases and Agile practices.

The role offers exposure to PNT architectures and opportunities to influence warfighter capabilities. As a leader, you will mentor staff, manage resources, and ensure performance excellence.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree with 10+ years of experience, or an advanced degree with 7+ years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor staff across all phases of the systems engineering life cycle.
• Provide direction for system development, tools, field demonstrations, and customer support.
• Direct support for cognizant programs and agile systems development lifecycle.
• Oversee resource allocation and administrative management of the team.
• Conduct ongoing employee engagement, coaching and development.
• Ensure performance excellence, feedback, and formal performance management.
• Oversee onboarding and career development for team members.
