Job summary

Trinity College in Hartford, CT seeks an Associate Director of Enrollment Experiences to design and deliver high-impact on-campus, off-campus, virtual, and hybrid programs engaging prospective students, families, counselors, and other enrollment constituents.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in enrollment, events, or related field; 5–8 years preferred.

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build productive relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, coordinate, and lead cross-functional work without direct authority.
  • Comfort with CRM systems, event platforms, survey tools, virtual event platforms, spreadsheets, and data reporting.
  • Willingness to work evenings/weekends and travel as needed; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision, design, and execution of Trinity’s enrollment experiences, including daily visits, group visits, open houses, admitted student events, counselor programs, virtual offerings, and off-campus/regional events.
  • Maintain Slate CRM platform as it relates to visits and group visits.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for group visit requests.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for enrollment experiences with faculty, academic departments, facilities, student life, and other campus partners including but not limited to advancement/alumni relations, athletics, institutional events.
  • Collect and analyze feedback, participation data, and engagement metrics. Use insights to recommend improvements and inform future planning. Prepare summaries and insights for enrollment leadership as needed.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues including enrollment colleagues, faculty, and staff from other divisions across campus who contribute to enrollment events and visits.

Job Description

Trinity College seeks a creative, strategic, and collaborativeprofessional to serve as Associate Director of EnrollmentExperiences. This role is responsible for designing and deliveringhigh-impact on-campus, off-campus, virtual, and hybrid experiencesthat engage prospective students, admitted students, families, highschool counselors, and other key enrollment constituents.

The Associate Director will ensure that every enrollment experiencereflects Trinity’s brand, values, academic distinction, andcommitment to student-centered engagement, helping position theCollege as a first-choice destination for students. Workingstrategically and diplomatically with faculty, facilities, studentlife, academic departments, and other campus stakeholders, thisposition will serve as an advocate for the enrollment team whilebuilding partnerships that support thoughtful, cohesive, andwelcoming experiences across the enrollment funnel.

This role requires a forward-thinking, solutions-orientedprofessional who can balance creativity with operationalexcellence, anticipate challenges, and collaborate effectivelyacross the College to advance Trinity’s enrollment goals.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, includingthe ability to create event plans, schedules, briefings,communications, and follow-up materials for internal and externalaudiences.
  • Ability to build productive relationships and collaborateeffectively with various stakeholders and partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, coordinate, and leadcross-functional work without direct authority.
  • Solid technological and data literacy, including experience orcomfort with CRM systems, event platforms, survey tools virtualevent platforms, spreadsheets, and data reporting.
  • Ability to use data, feedback, and assessment results toevaluate visitor experiences and recommend improvements.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and solutions-oriented,with a history of meeting deadlines and managing complex projectsindependently.
  • Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends and totravel by car, plane, train or boat as needed for event planninglogistics. Must have a valid motor vehicle license.
