Butler University’s Founder’s College seeks an Associate Director of Admission to lead recruitment for diverse, high-potential students in Indianapolis. You will partner with the Executive Director of Admission to shape strategy, manage admissions, and ensure an exceptional inquiry-to-enrollment experience.

You will build relationships with area high schools and community organizations, aligning with Butler’s commitment to access and equity in higher education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required for admission leadership roles.
• Minimum five years in higher education or admissions.
• Experience with historically underrepresented students.
• Proven success in recruiting to meet enrollment goals.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with CRM systems and admissions tools.
• Knowledge of Indianapolis schools and organizations.
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead recruitment plans to attract diverse prospective students.
• Supervise Admission staff and coordinate outreach initiatives.
• Develop partnerships with high schools and community orgs in Indianapolis.
• Coordinate events like open houses, information sessions, and fairs.
• Oversee application review and admissions decisions for efficiency.
• Collaborate with Financial Aid and academic departments.
• Support student transitions from admissions to enrollment.
• Provide guidance to families throughout the process.
• Use data analytics to measure recruitment outcomes and optimize strategy.
• Engage in professional development and admissions networks.
