Job summary

Butler University is seeking a degreed and experienced admissions professional to promote the university to international students and guide applicants through the admissions process. The role is remote and restricted to select metro areas, with travel to Indianapolis for training and events.

Responsibilities include formulating recruitment plans, reviewing international applications, coordinating credential evaluations, and expanding enrollment while collaborating with the admissions team.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree; Master’s preferred.
• 5–7 years’ experience in enrollment management or related field.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present content in large or small groups, in-person and virtual.
• Understanding of international documents and immigration processes.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Experience with CRM systems; familiarity with PeopleSoft and/or Slate recommended.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tech.
• Willingness to travel 10–15 weeks per year.

Responsibilities

• Expand international admission market within assigned territory.
• Develop and implement international recruitment plans using market research and data.
• Manage international applications for admission and credential evaluations.
• Oversee third‑party evaluations as needed.
• Prepare periodic reports to measure marketing progress.
• Attend college fairs and recruitment events; build external partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal teams and committees; mentor staff in international recruitment.
• Produce initial I-20 documents as a Designated School Official (DSO) per visa regulations.
• Travel to Indianapolis for training and on‑campus events.
