Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
• Minimum three years of experience in Academic Compliance and/or Regulatory Affairs
• Minimum five years in a higher education environment

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute academic compliance initiatives aligned with the University Strategic Plan
• Collaborate with university stakeholders, maintain project plans and timelines to meet regulatory objectives
• Complete annual compliance activities to support strategic priorities
• Audit programs and locations for readiness and compliance with academic standards
• Assess vulnerabilities related to accreditation and compliance, communicate concerns for intervention
• Prepare applications and reports for regulatory bodies accurately and timely
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure advisory board meetings are documented properly

• Maintain institutional knowledge of regulatory standards
• Keep updated on state, accreditation, and programmatic standards
• Develop resources to navigate varying standards across regions
• Create documents illustrating standard variations and deadlines
• Respond to research requests on regulatory requirements
• Maintain records and documentation on MyHerzing
• Provide training on standards to university constituents

• Manage regulatory reporting projects
• Oversee project timelines, support, and quality assurance
• Collaborate on accreditation submissions with faculty and staff
• Review standards and advise leadership on opportunities
• Communicate project status and needs assessments

• Prepare for regulatory visits and meetings
• Conduct mock visits and maintain visit preparation resources
• Train leaders for regulatory presentations
• Ensure consistent visit experiences and support during visits

Strategic Growth:

• Research regulatory requirements for new markets and programs
• Participate in strategic discussions on program launches and discontinuations
• Represent the university with external regulatory bodies
• Support accreditation efforts for new programs and markets
• Advise on approval processes and timelines

Physical Requirements:

• Up to 30% travel required
• Remain stationary most of the time, with occasional movement around locations
• Operate equipment and communicate effectively
