Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
• Minimum three years of experience in Academic Compliance and/or Regulatory Affairs
• Minimum five years of experience in higher education

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute academic compliance initiatives aligned with the University Strategic Plan
• Collaborate with university constituents, maintain project plans and timelines to achieve regulatory objectives
• Complete annual compliance activities to meet strategic priorities
• Audit programs and locations for compliance with academic standards
• Assess vulnerabilities related to accreditation and compliance, communicate concerns with AVP
• Complete applications and reports for regulatory entities accurately and timely
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure advisory board meetings are conducted properly

• Maintain institutional knowledge of regulatory standards
• Keep up-to-date repositories of standards and procedures
• Develop resources to navigate varying standards across regions and programs
• Create documents illustrating standard variations with deadlines
• Respond to research requests on regulatory requirements
• Maintain documentation and records on MyHerzing
• Provide training on standards to university constituents

• Manage projects related to regulatory reporting
• Support project timelines and quality assurance
• Collaborate on accreditation submissions
• Review standards and advise leadership
• Communicate project status to senior leadership

• Prepare for regulatory visits and meetings
• Conduct mock visits for readiness
• Maintain visit preparation resources
• Train leaders for presentations
• Ensure consistent visit experience
• Represent compliance team during visits
• Assist with logistics for visitors

• Support strategic growth of the University
• Research regulatory requirements for new markets
• Participate in strategic calls for new programs or discontinuations
• Represent the university with external regulatory bodies
• Research accreditation for new programs
• Advise on approval processes and timelines
• Collaborate on clinical development for new programs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Up to 30% travel required
• Remain stationary most of the time
• Occasionally move around the location
• Access classrooms, offices, and clinical settings as needed
• Communicate verbally with students and staff
• Observe and assess visually or otherwise
• Operate relevant equipment
