Education & Experience Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
• Minimum three years of experience in Academic Compliance and/or Regulatory Affairs
• Minimum five years in a higher education environment

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Execute academic compliance initiatives aligned with the University Strategic Plan
• Collaborate with university stakeholders, maintain project plans and timelines for regulatory initiatives
• Complete annual compliance activities to meet strategic priorities
• Audit programs and locations for compliance with academic standards
• Assess vulnerabilities related to accreditation and compliance, communicate concerns to AVP of Academic Compliance
• Prepare applications and reports for regulatory bodies accurately and timely
• Coordinate advisory board meetings, document minutes, actions, and communications

• Maintain institutional knowledge of regulatory standards
• Keep updated on state, institutional, and programmatic accreditation standards
• Develop resources to navigate standards across regions and programs
• Create documentation illustrating standards variation and deadlines
• Respond to research requests on regulatory requirements
• Maintain records and documentation on MyHerzing

• Manage projects related to regulatory reporting
• Support project timelines, quality assurance, and submission processes
• Collaborate on accreditation and regulatory submissions
• Review standards and advise leadership on opportunities
• Report project status and needs assessments to senior leadership

• Ensure readiness for regulatory visits, presentations, and meetings
• Conduct mock visits, maintain visit preparation resources
• Prepare leaders for regulatory interactions
• Represent the compliance team during visits and meetings
• Support logistics for site visits

Strategic Growth Support

• Research regulatory requirements for new markets and programs
• Participate in strategic discussions on program launches and discontinuations
• Represent the university with external regulatory bodies
• Advise on accreditation processes for new initiatives

Physical Requirements

• Up to 30% travel
• Stationary position most of the time, with occasional movement around locations
• Ability to operate equipment and communicate effectively
