Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred
• Minimum three years of experience in Academic Compliance and/or Regulatory Affairs
• Minimum five years of experience in higher education

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute academic compliance initiatives aligned with the University Strategic Plan
• Collaborate with university stakeholders, maintain project plans and timelines for regulatory initiatives.
• Complete annual compliance activities to meet strategic priorities.
• Audit programs and locations for readiness and compliance with standards.
• Identify vulnerabilities related to accreditation and compliance, report concerns.
• Prepare applications and reports for regulatory agencies accurately and timely.
• Coordinate advisory board meetings, document minutes, actions, and communications.

• Maintain institutional knowledge of regulatory standards
• Keep updated on accreditation and regulatory standards across regions.
• Develop resources to navigate standards variations.
• Create documents illustrating standard variations with deadlines.
• Respond to research requests on regulatory requirements.
• Maintain records and documentation on MyHerzing.
• Train university staff on standards and compliance.

• Project Management for Regulatory Reporting
• Manage project timelines, support, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate on accreditation submissions with faculty and staff.
• Review standards and advise leadership on opportunities.
• Report project status to leadership.

• Regulatory Visit and Meeting Readiness
• Conduct mock visits for readiness.
• Maintain visit preparation resources.
• Prepare leaders for presentations and visits.
• Ensure consistent visitor experiences.
• Support visitors with logistics and accommodations.

Positioning for Strategic Growth:

• Research regulatory requirements for new markets and programs.
• Participate in strategic planning calls.
• Represent the university externally within regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate on new program and market approvals.
• Advise on timelines and processes for approvals.
• Support clinical development for new programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Up to 30% travel required.
• Remain stationary most of the time, with occasional movement.
• Operate equipment, access locations, communicate verbally, observe, and assess.
