Job summary

The University of Oregon seeks an Associate Director for the Office of Academic Advising to lead undergraduate student success initiatives and ensure equitable outcomes. This on-site role guides advising operations, technology integration, and degree progression strategies across campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience in advising, career counseling, and/or teaching.
• Experience supervising staff, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Two years of leadership experience related to program coordination/management.

Responsibilities

• Provide campus-wide leadership for undergraduate student success initiatives.
• Develop, coordinate, and assess advising, retention, and degree progression strategies.
• Supervise a multidisciplinary team overseeing advising operations, technology, and degree progression data.
• Lead advisor training, professional development, and shared training resources.
