Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with progressively responsible experience in academic advising, student affairs, academic program administration, or higher education administration.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience in academic advising, academic program administration, enrollment management, student affairs, or higher education administration.
• Experience supervising professional staff.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex programs, projects, or initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of academic policies, student records, and degree requirements.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze data and use information to inform decision‑making and program improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight for advising operations supporting undergraduate Computer Science and Statistics & Data Science students.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate advising staff while establishing operational goals, service standards, and assessment practices.
• Provide leadership for orientation, onboarding, and transition initiatives in collaboration with university orientation and enrollment partners.
• Develop advising strategies, policies, and operational processes that support student success and timely degree completion.
• Serve as a resource for complex academic, enrollment, and student issues, and assist with school info sessions for prospective students when needed.
