Job summary

Scotiabank in New York City is seeking an Associate Director for Non-Bank Financial Institutions to lead Global Transaction Banking coverage for insurers, asset managers and other NBFIs. You will develop client strategies, coordinate with product partners, and drive sustainable revenue growth.

You will manage senior client relationships, deliver end-to-end liquidity, cash management and payments solutions, and ensure risk and regulatory compliance while collaborating with treasury and risk teams.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience within the financial services industry with a minimum of 3 years of transaction banking experience including global cash management, liquidity management, trade & working capital solutions, and/or corporate banking or global banking experience.
• Proven negotiation and active listening skills; strong written and verbal communication and ability to interact with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer-focused strategies to deepen client relationships and expand revenue across GTB products.
• Lead Treasury Management Officer activities for the NBFI portfolio and coordinate with product partners and risk teams.
• Serve as primary relationship contact for CFOs, Treasurers, and VPs of Finance to provide integrated transaction banking solutions.
• Deliver thought leadership at client roundtables, conferences, and webinars to promote Scotiabank’s value proposition.
