Job summary

Community Support Services, Inc. (CSS) is a Gaithersburg, MD-based nonprofit serving individuals with developmental disabilities. The Assistant Director of Meaningful Day and Employment Services will oversee day services, employment supports, and person-centered programming, ensuring quality services and regulatory compliance.

This role reports to the Director and leads teams across multiple sites. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and supervisory experience, with duties spanning program

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least two years’ supervisory experience in community services for people with developmental disabilities, or at least five years in the human services field.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Meaningful Day and Employment Services.
• Ensure services comply with state regulations and county standards.
• Support licensing surveys and audits.
• Provide supervision for 13–15 individuals with intensive or complex needs.
• Coordinate program planning and admission for new participants.
• Oversee documentation of service hours and audits.
• Lead team meetings and coordinate community employment services.
