Developmental Services, Inc. (DSI) invites applications for the role of Assistant Director, Community Services. This position oversees program development and administration within HCBS and ensures compliance with regulatory standards while guiding staff training and service quality.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and several years of experience, with strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Three years of related experience is preferred.
• Ability to obtain CPR, NCI, and First Aid certification annually.
• Excellent oral and written communication and confidentiality.
• Valid Indiana driver’s license and insurability may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate program development and administration within HCBS.
• Monitor regulatory standards to ensure services remain compliant.
• Schedule trainings and monitor staff training compliance.
• Develop departmental training programs to improve staff quality.
• Assist in curriculum development and lesson planning for clients.
• Foster community partnerships and maximize client engagement.
• Assist with scheduling to maximize billing utilization.
• Document PTO, medical time off, and leaves of absence.
• Assist with investigations, ensuring timeliness and fairness.
• Maintain client satisfaction surveys and quarterly observations.
