Job summary

Novartis seeks an Associate Director, Market Access Contracting, to shape and manage market access agreements across Managed Care, Medicare, and channels. You will partner with pricing, account management, finance, and legal leaders to drive contracting strategies that enable patient access and commercial growth.

The role emphasizes strategic analysis, contract interpretation, and compliance with SOX. Expect to lead cross-functional teams and influence key decisions within a remote US setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Law; MBA a plus.
• Experience in contract reviewing, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong understanding of legal aspects of contracts and pricing impacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to present complex data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as central contact for pricing and channel strategy teams and senior leadership on contracting matters.
• Develop and negotiate contract proposals and documentation with customer accounts.
• Collaborate to develop brand contracting strategies and assess pricing impacts.
• Coordinate with MMF for contract changes and approve price determinations and payment types.
• Support amendments, renewal timelines, and new contracting templates.
• Ensure contracts meet SLAs and SOPs; prepare management reports and dashboards.
