Job summary

Sandoz Inc. seeks an Associate Director, Specialty Contracting, to lead end-to-end contracting for assigned accounts from drafting to execution.

The role interacts with MCOs, PBMs, health plans, and distributors to implement contracting strategies and launches while ensuring compliance with legal and corporate guidelines. The position reports to the Head of Specialty Contracting & Operations, and offers hybrid work with up to 50% remote, based at the Princeton, NJ headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years drafting and negotiating pharmaceutical commercial contracts.
• Advanced understanding of legal and business aspects of commercial pharmaceutical contracts.
• Broad-based contracting experience across managed care, PBMs, health plans, specialty pharmacies, distribution, institutional.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Highly developed time-management skills with ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end contracting process for assigned accounts.
• Draft, negotiate, and execute contracts with MCOs, PBMs, health plans, and IDS networks.
• Collaborate on new product and contracting strategies including launches.
• Liaise with Legal and internal partners to develop standard and customized terms.
• Ensure all financial, legal, compliance, and corporate guidelines are met.
• Develop and maintain contract templates to support contracting strategy.
