Novartis is seeking an Associate Director, Market Access Contracting, to lead contract development across Managed Care, Medicare, Advanced Platforms, and Channel contracts in the U.S. This role partners with pricing, account management, finance, legal, and market access leaders to shape contracting strategies that enable patient access and commercial growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Law preferred; MBA a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Experience in contract reviewing/writing, account measurement, reporting, and forecasting.
• Advanced understanding of legal aspects of contracts and pricing impacts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present data clearly.
• Strong financial and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Serve as central contact for pricing/channel strategy across accounts.
• Develop contract proposals and negotiation strategies with customers.
• Collaborate on brand contracting strategies with pricing/channel teams.
• Liaise with MMF for contract changes and approve price determinations.
• Support amendments, renewal tracking, and new templates.
• Ensure contracts meet SLAs and SOPs.
• Prepare dashboards and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Report formulary changes in NEXUS for Managed Care and Medicare.
• Coordinate with MMF Gross-to-Net forecasting on rate changes.
• Maintain SOX documentation and participate in audits.
