Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management for a major bio-pharmaceutical campus development in Wilson, NC. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction-related field required.
• 5–7 years of relevant cost-management experience in construction.
• RICS accreditation or active path toward accreditation preferred.
• Experience leading cost management on medium to large projects with high complexity.
• Experience in manufacturing, life sciences, tech, industrial, or commercial construction preferred.
• Construction consultancy experience highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement routes, value management, and value engineering.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Client-facing role with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management team and ensure delivery of all cost management accountabilities.
• Interface with the client, stakeholders, and consultants at all project stages.
• Maintain excellent client and consultant communication across project stages.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls and change management throughout the lifecycle.
• Coordinate with general contractor, owner’s reps, and external stakeholders for Turner & Townsend coordination.
• Oversee strategic and operational management of Cost Management on large programs.
• Report on overall commercial status and provide weekly project updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost management processes and templates.
