Job summary

The Howard University seeks an Associate Director to lead ACE Learning Support & Success Initiatives within the Academic Center for Excellence. The role oversees learning services, orientation programming, and retention initiatives to advance student achievement and degree completion.

Reporting to the Senior Director, you will supervise two professional staff and student workers, drive strategic planning, and collaborate with campus partners to expand tutoring, testing, coaching, and merit

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience using data and student information systems to improve student success.
• Demonstrated leadership, supervision, training, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead ACE Learning Support & Success Initiatives under ACE leadership.
• Oversee tutoring, testing, academic coaching, and success workshops.
• Provide strategic oversight for orientation and retention programming.
• Analyze data to assess outcomes and guide improvement.
• Supervise professional staff and student employees.
• Collaborate with campus partners to implement high-impact student success practices.
